Eco Adventures Ltd. Is a fine example of how large and small businesses across the board can get active to help the less fortunate in the society. At each of our destinations, we responsibly engage with the local communities - with the objective of improving their well-being.
At Eco Adventures, we incorporate a rich cultural component in the design of our Safaris. As our valued clients, we seek your participation in our “Community Lift-Up” kitty by including in the costing of your safari and holiday packages a minimal amount that will go towards a specific community project that we have identified, audited and certified as worthwhile, at the destination.
We offer support by way of financial input and transfer of knowledge and skills. This directly empowers the community by way of providing jobs, enhancing skills, uplifting healthcare, education and environmental conservation.
Education is at the heart of our Community Support. We are proud to be associated with MaaChild UK Charity which provides sustainable secondary educational support for Maasai students in Southern Kenya.

Children in Kenya receive free primary education. But schools in this area are overcrowded and underequipped and children often have to walk many miles each day, across potentially dangerous bush land, in order to attend school. Despite these challenges they achieve great things and standards of achievement are high.
However, there is no provision for secondary education and the majority of Maasai children will have no choice or opportunity to continue their studies. It is important to us, the children and the Maasai communities that this support is sustainable and prepares the young person to cope with and assist their community with the inevitable changes they are experiencing in their culture.
Together with other volunteers here and in Kenya we work in co-operation with Maasai friends to bring hope to children and families from these remote communities. We invite you to share in this hope. In addition to the Bursary, we support schools with School Supplies for learning and extra-curricular equipment such as Computers and Sports items.
We support needy rural and urban schools. Rural schools, just like in many developing countries face many challenges that include inadequate school supplies, poor infrastructure, and lack of equipment. Our relationship with each school is unique and is defined by needs of the school, and not our priorities. In order to broaden opportunities for these schools, we invite our travellers to be part of our education partnership programs.
At Eco Adventures, we believe that conservation of our environment and Wildlife Heritage is Key for Tourism and quality of life! This has led us to actively participate in a wide range of conservation activities. As a result, we have supported conservation efforts for more than 10 years, by joining various conservation organizations in Kenya to enhance conservation ideals.
Our support has been given directly through membership subscriptions, purchases and in-kind to:
- Eco Tourism Kenya
- Daphne Sheldricks Wildlife Trust
- African Fund for Endangered Wildlife
- Kenya Wildlife Service
- Ol Pejeta Conservancy
